At 44 this year, Shelly Davies is living a dream she didn’t know she had – helping people live more fully, more authentically, and more in their truth.  She does this with a lot of laughs, her new traditional Māori chin tattoo, and a fair amount of curse words sprinkled liberally through everything she does, even her website.  Shelly’s story is one of loving self through dead husbands, depression, obesity, single parenting, running an #accidentallyawesome business, and even, much to her equal dismay and delight, grandparenting.

By brand, Shelly’s a “Rockstar Writing Trainer” - one of New Zealand’s go-to deliverers of business and technical writing training.  But boy, those engineers and government departments don’t realise what they’re going to get once Shelly’s in the room.

What they get is a lot of UNTRAINING – undoing all of the bad habits they picked up at university and through their careers.  With hashtags like #writelikeahuman and #authenticitywins, Shelly encourages research-based approaches to writing in more authentic ways, with a natural voice that increases confidence and trust.

For a really good kick-in-the-ass to loving yourself more and communicating more effectively, tune in when we’ve got Shelly on the line.

Dr. Jan Kirschner has maintained a successful wellness chiropractic practice for 29 years. The “rules” he developed for success in chiropractic school have been passed on to students at numerous institutions for generations. Dr. Kirschner was a founding board member of the Association for Network Care, and an international teaching staff member for Wise World Seminars, during which time he developed the Page One seminar as a way for students and doctors to master fundamental skills that were beginning to disappear from chiropractic curricula. He has taught Page One and his recently created Page Two seminars in Australia, Europe, Bali and the United States. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Kirschner was a comedy writer and performer, appearing in venues such as HBO, the Olympic Arts Festival in Los Angeles and the Goodman Theater in Chicago. Dr. Kirschner is the proud father of three children, all of whom were born at home, adjusted within minutes of their births, and have solely utilized chiropractic care to lead healthy lives.

When her grueling athletic pursuits led to injury and illness, she found holistic chiropractic care to be the most potent way to promote her body’s self-healing. After earning a Bachelor of Chiropractic from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (equivalent to the American Doctor of Chiropractic degree), Dr. Lauren trained in herbal and nutritional medicine, as well as functional neurology. Traveling extensively and practicing throughout Asia, she eventually set down roots in Denver in 2014, founding Nikau Chiropractic as homage to the iconic Nikau trees that line the shores of her native New Zealand. Living and loving every second of LIFE in the Chiropractic fast lane!  Life is busy with two practices and 5 kids--two sets of twins.  My husband and I are Soul Mates in love, passion and purpose.  In the deaths of close loved ones, births of our children and in chiropractic service to thousands of souls here on Earth, I have learned more than I could have ever dreamed of about health, full-expression life, sickness, and death.  I wake up each morning with two goals: 1. Serve my family--be the absolute best wife & mother as possible! 2. Serve humanity with all the Love in my heart.  Life is so good!  And, I am giddy with excitement because I know I am just getting started!

Dr. Monique Andrews has been sharing her knowledge and wisdom with Chiropractors for nearly 2 decades. Her dedication to the philosophy, art & science was recognized the moment she entered the profession. Upon graduation from Palmer College in Davenport she was awarded a Presidential Citation for Service to the Chiropractic Profession. The only student to ever receive the honor.

Holding both Doctor of Chiropractic and Master’s degrees in Neuroscience, the breadth and depth of her knowledge is vast. Dr. Mo is best known for her engaging presentations and TED style of lecturing, making even the most difficult concepts in neurology and physiology accessible to all learners.

While her brain is an obvious asset perhaps her greatest gift is in the enormity of her heart. Dr. Mo’s compassionate, authentic expression of life is exemplified in her belief that who you are as a person precedes who you are as a chiropractor.

Dr. Lance and Ray discuss some key points from Cedric Bertelli’s episode and touch on Non-Violent Communication in combination with TIPI.

Mar 15, 2018

Cedric is of French origin and has been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for over ten years.

He trained with the Tipi program in France directly under the founder, researcher Luc Nicon, in 2009. Nicon is recognized in Europe for having been able to isolate a natural capacity for emotional regulation through a landmark study.

After nine years of close collaboration with him in France and in the US, Cedric is the only expert certified to teach this work in English-speaking countries.

During his years of work with Mr. Nicon, Cedric has developed complete mastery of how to use the sensory memory to regulate recurrent emotional or behavioral difficulties as well as PTSD.

He has been able to measure on himself and hundreds of clients the effectiveness and speed at which emotional or behavioral patterns, even those that are very old, can be permanently regulated when we allow the body to do its natural work.

Cedric decided to make this discovery for emotional regulation available to the greater public through education and offering high-quality trainings.

Prior to working with the Tipi program, Cedric was the Director of Restaurants for the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California.

Dr. Caitlin Reimer is a 2017 graduate of Life University, College of Chiropractic. She is currently serving the Bremen and Marietta communities her gift of chiropractic, as well as facilitating chiropractic growth throughout the US and around the world as a lead facilitator of Adjusting Ninjas Training Camps.

During her time in school she focused on training to be the best possible chiropractor using the program designed by Kairos Training Culture’s Adjusting Ninjas. She was part of the crew that brought the Adjusting Ninjas club to Life University and served as a club facilitator for 2 years. Upon graduating, she was invited to join the Adjusting Ninjas Training Camps lead facilitating team. Through this work she recognized the importance of a whole person approach, and took to other global, tonal techniques like Logan Basic and BGI (Bio-Geometric Integration).

Dr. Caitlin sees the individual as an entire being that either integrates or stores each and every experience and recognizes that stored experiences (physical, mental and emotional) can manifest as a multitude of symptoms throughout the body.  By adjusting the body as a whole, acknowledging the human being, and clearing the nervous system of interference, the body is able to function using 100% of its innate intelligence allowing for optimal expression of life.

Dr. Lexi Meleski

I lead the most magically alchemized life. Growing up with always just enough, I knew from a very early age I was destined for greatness, or at least more. At age 10, I decided I wanted to be a cardiologist, because deep down inside it was weird to say I wanted to deliver babies as an obstetrician (or be a nun)... already seeking validation and wanting to fit in by society's standards. Fast forward through private Catholic education, and working for an Activator Chiropractor, to a full academic scholarship at the University of Wisconsin, where one layer peeled back and the realization of not wanting to be a trained surgeon and cut women open to have a baby led me on the path to becoming a chiropractor and certified doula. Fast forward even more through self-work, hard work, heart ache and graduating not knowing whether I'd be able to get my license to practice chiropractic, we are here, almost three years practicing in South Dallas.  I provide care to our single income and working families, creating a nonprofit to serve in a greater capacity, and alchemizing the most out of what's been provided within each "obstacle". My mission is to be an example, to inspire what's already within, and empower through awareness, education, and community.

Dr. Peter Amlinger graduated at the top of his class from CMCC in 1985, and has maintained a family oriented principle based practice in Mississauga since that time.

Dr. Amlinger speaks regularly internationally and speaks at Dynamic Essentials meetings. Since 2004 he has visited Spain regularly to help the chiropractors organize the profession in that country and was instrumental in the birth of the Barcelona College of Chiropractic.

He has been nominated for the Canadian Chiropractor of the Year Award three times, and was the recipient of this award in 2006.

In September of 2004 he started Chiropractic Pure and Powerful, a seminar bringing some
of the Nation’s best speakers together in an effort to unite chiropractors in the principle. He is also president of Purposeful Living Inc. which is a chiropractic consulting and speaking service.

In 2005 he was elected to the council of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, and in 2006 he was elected to the Executive Board of CCO. He was elected President of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario in June 2009 and was re - elected in April 2010 for a second term. He completed another two terms as President of the CCO from April 2012 - April 2014. In April 2012 he was elected Secretary Treasurer of the FCEARB. In December of 2012 he was awarded the Heart and Hands Award by the Ontario Chiropractic Association, an award commemorating Dr Michael Brickman’s contribution to the profession. In August of 2015 he became the regional director of the International Chiropractors Association, Canada.

Dr. Amlinger sees his role as a teacher as that of facilitating personal growth in chiropractors, their families and their staff so that they can fall in love with the principles of chiropractic, integrate them into their lives, and develop their “ideal practices” from the inside out. He sees the principle as the uniting force in chiropractic and is dedicated to enhancing the understanding and utilization of the principle around the world, and to helping people realize their God given purpose.

By surrendering to a life of purpose, vision and mission, one awakens their INNATE GIANT within and positions themselves to grasp the BIG IDEA. This opens the door to a life of joy and peace, and ultimately allows one to serve humanity with an attitude of loving, giving and serving, just for the sake of doing so.

In reflection of the year that has past, I decided to express myself in a poem. Cheers to this year and to that which will come. – Dr. Lance von Stade

KTC in 2016

We drew our first breath overseas,

Waved goodbye to symptoms and disease,

With head, hands, and heart

We expressed the art

And witnessed our breath become breeze.

Our family expanded Down Under.

We saw chiropractic and wonder,

“Can union exist

If we do not resist

How another delivers the thunder?”

The training camp in Kansas City

Turned out to be the most gritty.

With pouring down rain

The breaths were insane

And the cervical strikes were damn pretty.

The culture evolved and it grew.

Adjusting Ninjas: Level 2.

Adaptations were shared

As Europe prepared

For expansion of their field of view.

The training camp; Ninjas in Paris.

That diverse city didn’t compare us.

In England the same

DCs shared the aim;

Remove subluxations that wear us.

A crew had assembled in Dallas

To integrate mind, soul, and palace.

The ninjas trained hard

With special regard

For hearts in the world that grew callous.

Facilitators were assembled.

In waters of Tahoe they trembled.

The people that came

Would not leave the same

Once they saw the light they resembled.

An old trend at conferences caved.

Showing up just to sit has been waived.

Like Focus OKC,

For people whom they see,

Ninjas trained before joining The Wave.

Epiphanies come all too often.

It’s worthless to let your brow soften.

When Doctor Brett Jones

Gets the flash of “less-knowns”

A module you know he’ll go off in.

So Cal welcomed the Ninjas to train.

We entered the vortex without strain.

We floated our joints,

Compressed to endpoints,

And delivered to alter the brain.

Chirofest got a taste of KTC.

The Fountainhead training camp set many free.

We dove into Why,

I don’t often cry,

But damn it felt good just to BE.

The level 2 camp saw light whitening.

The bond of the squads is still tightening.

 The art was pristine,

Dr. John A. Martinez completed undergraduate work at Metropolitan State University of Denver where he majored in human biology. He received a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward California. John continues to be a student, attending many post-graduate courses, ever deepening his understanding of his craft and his role in the scheme of life. His passion is in utilizing the principles of life and chiropractic as a catalyst and opportunity for growth and expanded awareness. He is the founder of Pneuma Seminars, co-founder of the Tao of Chiropractic, and 360 Global Missions. The Pneuma approach is an unfolding and evolving work within chiropractic.

A radical transformation occurred in his own life while under the care and guidance of a chiropractor prior to chiropractic school- an experience that allowed many repeating obstacles and deleterious belief systems to be dismantled. This cleared the way for a greater capacity to inquire & tenacity for understanding the nature of life, death, healing, and the potential of the human being.

John is committed to serving people of all ages, and from all backgrounds through the art of chiropractic, helping them reconnect to their innate wisdom and healing power. He facilitates regular mission trips to other countries, bringing chiropractic to populations who normally don't have access to this type of care.

John also seeks to help chiropractic students connect with the true principles of chiropractic despite the heavily weighted medical curriculum, passionately striving for authenticity in the profession and adherence to the roots of this work. His vision is to empower humanity to live from within, and to become guided by their innate inclinations.

Dr. Lona Cook opened her first practice in 2010, which grew quickly in her community and allowed her to write her first book, Just Tell Me Where To Start. The book opened up a platform for her to educate other chiropractors on getting open and jumping into practice successfully.  Opening their 2nd office and taking on many mentoring roles in the profession has opened her eyes to many aspects of practice currently. Dr. Cook is also on the state association board and has created EVOLVE, a vitalistic women's seminar that meets in January in Minneapolis.
